We are relatively new South African based company forming the S.A. division of a larger Bulgarian based property and development company.  Our function is to introduce Bulgaria as an alternative for investment, relocating and holiday destination.  We have offices in Varna, the second largest city to Sofia, the capital.  Varna is situated on the Black Sea coast and is also referred to as the Black Sea Capital.

Institutional Surroundings

The Republic of Bulgaria has the most stable and predictable political surroundings on the Balkan Peninsula.  The country is a competent member of the EU since January 1, 2007 and participates actively in a number of NATO activities since March 29, 2004.

Bulgaria is an attractive country for investors due to the following factors:  fast growth, low inflation and interest rates, stable prices and salaries, inexpensive labour force, low taxes, low budget deficit.  Expenses for salaries in Bulgaria amount to less than 10% of the average for the EU.

Bulgaria is a party to 52 international agreements for support and stimulation of the investments on reciprocal basis.  It recently adopted the international accountancy standards, which further facilitates the cooperation with foreign companies and investors.
